Mr. Junior Franklin "Bud" Eaton, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on June 12, 2015 at Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill, TN. Mr. Eaton was born in Fannin County, GA to the late Robert Lee "Doc" Eaton and Priscilla Weaver. Mr. Eaton was a logger and also a member of Old Jerusalem Baptist Church.Survivors include his fianc, Eulene Burrell; son and daughter-in-law, James Franklin "Bo" and Mary Eaton of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Joyce and Robert Ross of Mineral Bluff, GA, Judy DeGrie of Blue Ridge, GA, and Janet Eaton of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Gerald Eaton and Lane Weaver of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Clara Tipton of Ellijay, GA, Linda Tipton of Ellijay, GA, Edith Sisson of Blue Ridge, GA, and Retha Stillwaterstone of Dalil, NM; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Flats Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers: Bo Eaton, Jason Ross, Eric Ross, Taylor Osborn, Chris Eaton, and Cody Herring.
