Mrs. Judy Marie Mealer, age 50, of McCaysville, GA passed away on June 2, 2010. She was born March 15, 1960 in Sevierville, TN. Mrs. Mealer was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a member of the Stanfield Baptist Church in Georgetown, TN. She worked for Shaw Industries as an operator.Survivors include her husband of thirty two years, Barry Mealer of the home; children, Christopher Lynn Mealer of McCaysville; Amanda Dawn Mealer of Mineral Bluff, GA and Anna Marie Mealer Starcher of Perry, OH; grandchildren, Chasity Starcher, Josh Starcher, Madelyn Starcher, Haille Mealer, Hannah Mealer, Tyler Jones, Isaiah Stephens, and Autumn Mealer; parents, Anna June Watson and J.B. Watson of Ocoee, TN; brothers, Jr. (Jackson B. Watson, Jr.) of Bradley, TN and Steven B. Watson of Ocoee, TN; sisters, Debbie Ramsey of Gatlinburg, TN and Donna and Allen Massengill of Ocoee, TN; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Kenny Garrison; brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Tim and Sherry Garrison, Rodney and Vickie Garrison, Billy and LaVonne Mealer, Bobbie and Eland Jones, Teresa Garrison; and one canine companion Mitzie of the home.Funeral services were conducted Saturday June 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Geren officiating. Music was provided by the Caylor Family and Rev. Eric Geren. Interment followed in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Barry Mealer, Chad Stephens, Wesley Jones, Jackson B. Watson, Jr., Alan Massengill and Jason Tanner. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Mealer, Tim Garrison, Jeffrey Rymer, David Rymer and Britt Jones.
