Judy Lee Helton, age 82, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Helton was born on March 10, 1939 in Copperhill, TN. She was of Pentecostal Christian faith. Mrs. Helton was preceded in death by her parents, Arvil Lee Walkey and Stella Rogers Walkey; husband, Carl Jesse Lee Helton; brother, Tom Walkey; and sisters, Louise Boring and Ellen Pickelsimer. Mrs. Helton is survived by her son and his wife, Carl and Christi Helton of Decatur, TN; daughters, JoAnn Williams, Lesa Watson, and Norma (Steve) Roland, all of Cleveland, TN; brother and his wife, Danny and Barbara Walkey of Tunnel Hill, GA; sisters and their husbands, Rachel Ray of Copperhill, TN, Lottie and Roger Bagley of Resaca, GA, and Margaret Roberts of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Keisha (Brandon) West, Brittney (Charles) Harris, Stacy (Greg) Humphrey, Kaci Roland, Trey (Haley) Williams, and the late Jacob Moore; great-children, Kensley Chambers, Allie Dennison, and Brooks West; her very special friends, Diane Hyatt and Becky Sprague; her many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from Rachel's Chapel Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Alan Pickelsimer officiating. Eulogies were given by JoAnn Williams and Keisha West. Music was provided by Rodney Pickelsimer. Interment followed at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Brandon West, Charles Harris, Dale Ray, Trey Williams, Greg Humphrey, and Stevie Walkey.
