Judson T. Bailey, age 88, of Dial, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his home. He was born in Fannin County, on January 10, 1935, to the late Columbus Judson Bailey and Pearl Peek Bailey. He served in the United States Navy and later retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an Electronics Technician. After retiring, Judson became a stained glass artist and operated local shops. Judson was a member of the Dial Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Gail Van Zandt Bailey; daughter, Lisa Bailey Clark; granddaughter, Lori Michelle Clark; and siblings, Emerson Bailey, Ernest Bailey, Pauline Bailey, Jewel Ruth Bailey, and Linda O'Neil.

He is survived by his children, Mark Dennis Bailey and Lori Bailey Hodge; and grandchildren, Zachary Hodge and Dennis Clark.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Butch Jones officiating. Military honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Van Zandt Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 2:00 PM.
