Joyce Sue Vest, age 85 of Ocoee, TN passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Vest was born on April 22, 1938 to the late John "Clyde" Duggan and Stella May Taylor Duggan. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Vest loved spending time with her grandchildren and working outside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Vest; and siblings, Jimmy Duggan, Anita Raper, J.C. Duggan, Gary Duggan, Betty Culler, Rachael Ledford, and Doris Duggan.

She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Mae Woodman of Ocoee, TN; grandchildren, Raleigh Woodman of Ocoee, TN, and Jalen Dixon of Athens, TN; great grandchildren, Ryan Lepard and Nathan Dixon; sister, Juanita Brown of Dalton, GA; special friend, Janice Kirksey of Ocoee, TN; many beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the New Zion Baptist Church in Farner, TN with Rev. Keith Raper and Rev. Raymond Akens officiating. Music will be by Tina Brawley, Gina Graves, and Medra Palmer. Pallbearers will be Marvin Grooms, Aaron Brown, Roger Witt, Cameron Witt, Terry Duggan, and Roy Lepard. Honorary pallbearers will be Herschel Raper and Tony Ledford. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.
