Joyce Faye Brendle, age 82, of Farner passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Joyce was born in Coker Creek on August 13, 1943 to the late William Lafayette Morrow and Myrtle Garrett Morrow. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Bryan Brendle and Jeff Brendle; siblings, Cleaston Morrow, Louise West, Shirley Brendle, Carolyn Lewis, and Charlotte Dennis.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Brendle and Travis & Amanda Brendle; grandchildren, Samantha Brendle, Brandy Harris, and Zeke Brendle; great-grandchildren, Bryan Stiles, Bill Stiles, Silas Stiles, Starlin Anderson, and Lane Harris; daughters-in-law, Kim Watkins and Dena Crawford; and sisters, Doris Karrantza, Brenda McLaughin, and Delora Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Brad Ledford officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in the Reid's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Brendle, Travis Brendle, Zeke Brendle, Hayden Crawford, James Williamson, and Pete Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Postell and Billy Joe Postell. The family will receive friends at the Akins-Cobb of Copperhill on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
