Joshua Anthony Cheatham, age 15, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. He was born in Mesa, AZ on February 2, 2007. He was a member of the Fannin County High School Band. Josh enjoyed playing Xbox. He was particularly known for his dad jokes and being a master of random facts. He enjoyed playing percussion instruments. Josh loved trying the spiciest foods he could find. He also enjoyed playing putt-putt golf, whenever he had the opportunity. He liked bowling. He loved hanging out with his friends.

Josh is preceded in death by his grandfather, Scott Cheatham.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Anthony and Megan Cheatham; mother and step-father, Tasha and Shane McManus; siblings, Savanah Moland, Austin Duran, Paisley Cheatham, Emelia Cheatham, Ryker Cheatham, and Hunter McManus; grandmother, Lisa Cheatham; great-grandfather, Fred Carver; aunts, Kandi Tulley and Aron Schultz; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 12:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Charlie Wellham and Donald Curtis officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
