Joseph "Joe" Glenn Stillwell, age 73 of Canton, GA passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014, at home. He was born on Thursday, September 26, 1940 in Copperhill, TN, to the late James Euclid and Carrie Elizabeth Brown Stillwell. Mr. Stillwell was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority, Watts Bar Plant, as an iron worker. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Stillwell was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Carlton Stillwell and brother, Doc Stillwell. Survivors are his wife of forty-one years, Marilyn Curtis Stillwell; son, Timothy Stillwell of Boardentown, NJ; daughter, Jeanette Lingerfelt (William) of Canton, GA; brother, Bryan Stillwell of McCaysville, GA; four grandchildren, Felicia KuyKendall, Nikki Stillwell Turner, Mary Elizabeth Wade (Gary) and Christopher William Lingerfelt; four great-grandchildren, Haley KuyKendall, Abigail KuyKendall, Kaci Wade and Olivia Smith.Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Max Curtis officiating. Music will be by Betty Curtis and Cindy Call. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Stillwell, Chris Lingerfelt, Bo Lingerfelt, Gary Wade, Tony Anderson and Jacky Anderson.
