Michael Jonathan James Bivins, age 57, of Longview, TX, passed away April 25, 2017. Born in Copperhill, TN, he was the son of the late John "Jack" Thomas Bivins, Jr. Mr. Bivins worked as a Truck Driver for several years. Survivors include his son, Jonathan Bivins of NM; mother, Joann Palerm of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacqueline and Kim Clodfelter of Sumter, SC; Jan Myers of Shalimar, FL and Annette and Chris Dolan of St. Louis, MO; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. Interment followed in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tim Black, Paul Long, Billy Lambert and Toby Holland.
