Mr. John "Harold" Rhodes, age 71, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on October 11, 2026 at his home. He was born in Copperhill, TN to the late John Elbert and Velmer Cole Rhodes. Harold was life long contractor in the area. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. However, Harold's greatest accomplishment was his children and grandchildren who he dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Kullen Rhodes; and siblings, infant Barbara Rhodes, Elbert Rhodes, Kathleen (Bobby) Stewart, Daisy (Virgil) Goddard, and Mary (JB) Jackson.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Misty and Marc Burnette, and Kayla Renee Rhodes; sons and daughters-n-law, Marshall and Callie Rhodes, Brett and Alissa Rhodes and Trenton and Mackenzie Rhodes; grandchildren, Coleman (Hannah) Burnette, Campbell Burnette, Khalon Rhodes, Cora Burnette, Cooper Burnette, Addysynn Miller, Easton Rhodes, Ella Rhodes, Remi Glascoe and Lorelei Rhodes; siblings, Jerleen (John) Stewart and Carolyn Rhodes; longtime friend, Lora Dorraine Rhodes; and a host of other relatives and good friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Darvin Couch and Rev. Eric Nations officiating. Music will be provided by Trenton Rhodes and Addy Miller. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Tabernacle Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Marshall Rhodes, Brett Rhodes, Trenton Rhodes, Marc Burnette, Coleman Burnette and Ronnie Jerrett. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Adam Dickey, Cooper Burnette, Khalon Rhodes, Easton Rhodes and Remi Glascoe.
