Captain John "Jack" Morrow, age 80, of Morganton, GA passed away on January 19, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Red Bank, NJ, to the late John Wesley Morrow and Josephine Lorenz Morrow Dolce. Jack was a member of SAR and the West Palm Beach Fishing Club. He was also the recipient of the Tommy Gifford Legendary Captain Award.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathleen Lipke Morrow; five children, Daniel Wesley Morrow (SAR 8th Generation) and Carol of Hobe Sound, FL, James Wesley Morrow and Marty of Hobart, OK, Thomas Wesley Morrow and Erin of Palm City, FL, Kevin John Morrow and Cristy of West Palm Beach, FL and Jacqueline Morrow of Loxahatchee, FL; grandchildren, Lora Rene Morrow Moorhouse and Edwin, Kristen Louise Morrow Nelson and Silas, Victoria Kathleen Morrow, John Wesley Morrow IV, Daniel Wesley Morrow II (SAR 9th Generation Sgt. USMC), Macy Morrow Gelnar and Jonathan, Gage Morrow and Kirstyn, Tommy Morrow II, Taylor Morrow, John-Sebastian Morrow and Ana Maria Morrow; great grandchildren, Braylon, Trace, Jett, Jax and Kollyns; sister, Marguerite Morrow Fred and Ray of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; nephews, Bruce and Pam Fred of Port St. Lucie, FL; cousins, Tom and Sharon Doughty of MD, Joe and Patti Hellmers of NJ and Kathy Doughty of OH; and a number of other relatives and friends also survive.

A Funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. from the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Riviera Beach, FL with a Celebration of Jacks Life followed by burial at sea. Memorial services locally will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Father John Conway officiating.
