Mr. John Gregory Herring, age 73, of Copperhill, TN, passed away on September 27, 2020 at his residence. Born in Columbus, OH, he was the son of the late Lambert Lee and Norma Merritt Herring. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Herring had retired as a Graphic Design Artist. Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Maurice Samples and Laurie and David Chace; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mr. Herring wishes were to be cremated and scattered in the mountains he adored.
