Mr. John Henry Fennimore, age 83, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Fennimore was born in Summittville, Indiana on July 22, 1930 to the late Burr Henry Fennimore and Georgia Jane Oldfield. He worked for J.P. Industries and was a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church. He was a Cub Master with Cub Scouts in Bradenton, FL, and was a Korean Combat Veteran, serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Fennimore of Blue Ridge, GA; son, Scott H. Fennimore of Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Matthew Fennimore and Jayson Fennimore; and a great grandchild, Loralei Fennimore. Memorial services were held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Burell officiating. Music was by Judy Cheyne.
