Joanne White, age 60, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. White was born on January 25, 1957 in Kenosha, WI to the late Gene and Daisy Elrod Prince. She had worked for Shaw Industries and was a member of the Staffordtown Church of Life in Copperhill, TN.She is survived by her husband, Richard White of the home; son, Johnathan Paul (Rachael) White of Blue Ridge; daughter, Teresa (Michell) Martin of Blue Ridge; brothers, Champ (Maxine) Prince and Tyke (Cindy) Prince of Burgertown; sisters, Libby (Frank) Newman of Blue Ridge and Regina (Mike) Coleman of Burgertown; and seven grandchildren.A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 2:00 pm from Staffordtown Church with Rev. Justin Payne and Rev. Tyke Prince officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
