Mrs. Joan (Galloway) Harris, age 50, of Mineral Bluff, Ga., died Wednesday, April 16. Mrs. Harris was employed in the bakery department at BiLo in Blairsville, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Charles Galloway and was a member of the New River Baptist Church.She was survived by her husband Scott Harris of the home; her mother, Patricia (Huffman) Galloway of McCaysville, GA; two daughters, Bridget (Harris) Johnston and Stephanie Jonene (Harris) Easterling both of Blairsville, GA; one son, Jimmy Scott Harris of Savannah, GA; three sisters, Karen Anderson of White, GA, Sharon Watkins of Blue Ridge, GA and Crystal Price of White, GA; one brother, Neal Galloway of Sevierville, TN; and four grandchildren, Kamron, Kaidyn, and Ketcher Easterling and Gideon Johnston. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel. Interment was in Galloway Cemetery.
