Jimmie Faye Rymer Wilson was born on June 2, 1932 in Ocoee, Polk County, Tennessee. She died of natural causes on September 1, 2007 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was the daughter of the late James William Rymer and the late Frieda Elizabeth Wilson, who moved to Blue Ridge in 1944. She was married to the late William (Bill) Anderson Wilson, Sr. on January 15, 1950 at the Blue Ridge Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, a brother Robert William Rymer, and a sister Ann Elizabeth Rymer Clyburn.Jimmie Faye was a graduate of the Blue Ridge High School class of 1948. After marriage and the birth of their son William Anderson, Jr., Jimmie Faye and Bill resided in Blue Ridge until 1952. After that, the Wilson family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she was employed in the medical profession and later on, was the office manager for her son's engineering consulting business. Bill was a union iron worker and later a real estate agent.Later in life, Jimmie Faye and Bill were blessed with two grandchildren, Scott Patrick Wilson and Kristi Lee Wilson, whom the adored. They enjoyed spending time with them and traveling to visit family. Jimmy Faye was survived by a son William Anderson Wilson, Jr., and honor graduate of the University of Florida and a retired engineer, two grandchildren, Scott Patrick Wilson, a 2009 graduate of the University of Central Florida, with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and Kristi Lee Wilson, a 2015 graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Masters in Art Education. Sadly, Scott has since died in an automobile accident of February 12, 2010.Services were held at the John Floyd Anderson Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Georgia at 2:00 PM Sunday, July, 12, 2015 with Rev. Doug Burrell officiating. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
