Mrs. Jewell Collins Wimberly, age 92, of Young Harris, GA passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Wimberly was born in Plant City, FL on November29, 1923 to the late Fred C. Collins and Lovie Baker Collins. She retired from Plant City Elementary School where she worked as a school teacher and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wimberly.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Kenny Francis of Young Harris, GA.Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Oaklawn Cemetery in Plant City, FL.
