Jewel Ruby Mashburn, age 85, of Dallas, GA passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Kimberly Assisted Living. She was born on March 2, 1930 to the late Carl and Mary Arizona Carver Mashburn. She retired as a secretary at Lockheed Aircraft. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Marietta. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Gregory of Marietta; son, Albert R. Shultz of Dalton; son, R. Clay Shultz of Dallas; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services were conducted Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Ross Jordan officiating. Interment followed in the Church of Christ Cemetery.
