Jerry Anthony Sisson, age 47, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on September 9, 2024, at his home in McCaysville, Georgia. He was born on November 4, 1976, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Jerry and Charlotte Sisson.

Anthony was known for his gentle spirit and kindness. He was a wildly creative artist with a brilliant imagination, always concerned for others, and a man of great faith. Anthony loved the Lord and was always seeking to pray for someone. He enjoyed being outdoors, and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and collector. His passions in life included being a fly-fishing guide and taxidermist. In his early years he worked as a delivery boy for the Atlanta Journal Constitution in Atlanta, Georgia and as an Exotic Taxidermist in Buford, Georgia; he also worked for his cousins, Andy and Charlie Arp, at Eagle Fab in Canton, Georgia and later had his own business, Head to Tails Taxidermy in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

Anthony is survived by his father and mother, Jerry and Charlotte Sisson, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and David Beckler and Carla and Charles Boutin, his brother, Jason Sisson, nieces and nephews, Ruby and Molly Chandler, Madeline, Olivia, and Reese Sisson, special cousin, Tara Akins, along with many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Ruby Arp, his grandmother, Maude Sisson, and his niece, Kristen Sisson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 5:00 - 8:00pm at Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Funeral services were held in the Blue Ridge Chapel of Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:00am, and were officiated by Reverend Joey Buchanan. An interment service followed at J.P. Chastain Memorial Park, Resthaven Cemetery, in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The following family members were selected to serve as pallbearers: Andrew Arp, Charlie Arp, Tim Dockery, Corsie Akins, Chris Hyde, Reese Sisson.

Anthony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will forever remain in our hearts.
