Jerry Burnell Mitchell, age 70, of Morganton, GA passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Mitchell was born in Atlanta, GA on September 19, 1948 to the late Paul Mitchell and Frances Louise Johnson Mitchell. He worked as a Paramedic and Firefighter for Clayton County, GA E.M.S. Mr. Mitchell was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and served in the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kandi Mitchell; and sisters, Patricia and Lisa Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Judith Mitchell of the home; children and their spouses, Jerry Burnell Mitchell, Jr; Wendy Mitch (Ryan) Harbin; and Vonda (Chris) Titshaw; stepchildren and their spouses, Wm. Marshall (Sarah) Matson, Amy Brackett, John T. (Brittany) Wesserling, and Anne M. Wesserling; brother and sister-in-law, Steve (Jan) Mitchell.
