Jerry Edward Lewis, age 65, of Ducktown, TN passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. Jerry was born in Ducktown to the late William Edward and Maggie Lee Addington Lewis. He was a member of the Mine City Baptist Church. Jerry was a member of the Local #43 Chattanooga Pipefitters and his last employment was with the Tennessee Valley Authority at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved riding through the mountains. Jerry was preceded in death by siblings, Gordon Lewis, Bill Lewis, Anita Davis and Judy Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife of forty three years, Wanda Kidd Lewis of the home; daughters, Rebecca Ann Lewis and Laura Faye Lewis of Ducktown, TN; sister, Sue (Jackie) Russell of Ducktown, TN; four grandchildren, Dakota Harris, Bristol Ray, Tyler Ray and Mackenzie Ray. Funeral services were conducted Monday, December 21, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Jack and Rev. Gary Waters officiating. Music was by Daniel, Alex and Angie Deal. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Zion Hill cemetery.
