Mr. Jerry Steve Cole, age 74, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 10, 1950 in McCaysville, Georgia to the late Annie Bell Pope Cole. He was known for being a hard worker. In his spare time, Jerry loved listening to and playing music, often found strumming his guitar or playing the piano. Jerry's creativity was also shown through his love for drawing and sketching.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Bell Pope Cole; and brother, Mack Cole.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda Patterson Cole of the home; daughters, Tammy Rena Parker (Ray) of Morganton, GA; Vickie Lee Garrison (Rodney) of Epworth, GA; and Amanda June Campbell (Jason) of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Whitney Nicole Campbell, Emily Dawn Garrison, and Nathaniel Brian Garrison; and brother, Billy Cole of OH.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel. Eulogy was given by Mr. Jason Campbell. Interment followed in the Patterson Family Cemetery in Blue Ridge with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jason Campbell, Rodney Garrison, Ray Parker, Nathaniel Garrison, Charles Mull, and Bryson Mull. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 9, prior to the service from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to help defray final expenses.
