Jerry Charles Sisson of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, loyal friend, and respected member of the Blue Ridge community. Through Jerry's Mountain Furniture and his many years building and furnishing homes throughout North Georgia, he left a lasting mark on the place he loved.
He cherished time with family and friends, loved the outdoors, and was known for his generosity, humor, and strong work ethic. Jerry built more than houses and furniture -he built friendships and a life rooted in hard work, integrity, and love.
The mountains he called home will forever remind us of his strength, and his example will continue to inspire those who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Milford and Maude Sisson; his son, Jerry Anthony Sisson; his granddaughter, Kristen Sisson; and his siblings, Lois Stanley, Bob Sisson, and Molly Taylor.
He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty years, Charlotte Sisson; children, Sheila Beckler (David), Carla Boutin (Charles), and Charles Jason Sisson; grandchildren, Ruby Chandler (Jake Alford), Molly Chandler, Madeline Beavers (Carson), Olivia Rhodes (Mason), and Reese Sisson; great-grandchild, John Owen Rhodes; and sister, Shirley Dyer (the late, Bud Dyer).
