Mr. Jerry L. Bradburn, age 67, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on March 14, 2021 at the Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, GA. He was born in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Charlie William and Emma Lou Pless Bradburn. Jerry was a happy, fun loving Christian man, whom you would never see without a smile or a loss of words. Trips to town and vacations was always filled with him talking to random people and making friends wherever he went. He was employed by Levi Strauss for 30 years as a Cutter Machine Operator. Later, he worked for Fannin County Board of Education at West Fannin Elementary for ten years as a custodian, where he was affectionately known as Mr. Jerry. He adored time with his family, but especially time spent with his grandchildren. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Papaw, Brother, Friend and Neighbor. He will be Greatly missed by all.Survivors include his wife, Christy Bradburn of the home; children and their spouses, Shannon and Kayla Bradburn and Vanessa and Andy Huffman all of Blue Ridge, GA; step-children and their spouse, Holly and Adam Boyce of San Antonio, TX and Hannah Mashburn of the home; grandchildren, Addyson Bradburn, Izaiah Bradburn and Grant Huffman; siblings and their spouses, Monita Davenport of Trabuco Canyon, CA, Charles and Lynn Bradburn of Blue Ridge, GA, Margie and Wade Hampton of Resaca, GA, David and Debbie Bradburn of Houston, TX, Roy and Cynthia Bradburn and Ronald and Denise Bradburn, James Bradburn all of Blue Ridge, GA and Larry and Cheryl Bradburn of Blairsville, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Phillip and Doris Towe of Cherry Log, GA; brother-in-law, David Towe; sister-in-law, Julie Murphy; and numerous nephews, nieces and a host special friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, March 19, 2021 from the Cherry Log Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Patterson officiating. Music was provided by Rev. Joey and Lindy Patterson and Jeremy Payne. Interment followed in the church cemetery with the following nephews serving as pallbearers: Steve Bradburn, Brian Bradburn, Chris Bradburn, Britt Bradburn, Brandon Bradburn, Kevin Davenport, Adam Bradburn, Jason Bradburn and Scott Bradburn. Selected to serve as an honorary escort were Jerry's brothers, men of Cherry Log Baptist Church and all of his special friends.
