Mr. Jerry Lynn Anderson, age 71, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at his home.

Born on October 10, 1954, in Copperhill, Tennessee, he was the son of the late AD Anderson and Jean Alice Dale Anderson. Jerry worked for many years at St. Phillips Tug Towing Company in Tampa, Florida, serving as a tugboat engineer.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; AD and Jean Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Allene Anderson; son, Zachary Anderson; siblings, Doris McNelley, Sharon (Chris) Conoley, and Aaron (Rhonda) Anderson; numerous extended relatives, and dear friends.

Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Anderson were held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. from the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega, Georgia with Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Brian Garrett, Stanley Anderson, Kenny Anderson, and Chris Conoley. The family visited with friends at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, Georgia on Sunday afternoon, October 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
