Jerry Dee Adams, age 71 of Turtletown, TN passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in Turtletown, TN. He was born on December 1, 1951 to the late Carl Edgar Adams and Iva Glee Padgett Adams. He retired after 42 years with Shaw Industry as a creeler. Jerry was of the Baptist Faith. He liked sitting on the porch and loved his family. Jerry took pride in each car he owned.

Survivors are his siblings, Johnny Mason (Mary Ruth) of Chuckey, TN, Larry Adams (Mary) of Crandall, GA, Harold Adams (Opal) of Turtletown, TN, Carl Adams, Jr. of Turtletown, TN, Thelma Martin (Kenneth) of Turtletown, TN and Una Vee Dilbeck (Danny) of Turtletown, TN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survived.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 25, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funeral & Cremations of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Donald Weaver and Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music will be by Tammy Jones. Interment will follow in the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Martin, Robert Martin, Kenny Martin, Chris Adams, Andy Loetcher and Luke Dillard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mitchell Loudermilk, Mitchell Prince, Doug Prince, Phil Mason, Michael Adams, Daniel Adams, Kaden Martin, Lowell Holt, Casey Loetcher, Zackary Loetcher, Ryan Loetcher, "Bobby" Pete Owensby, Sidney Jory, Jordan Cochran, Tyler Jory, Ben Jory, Tim Loudermilk and Mickey Loudermilk.
