Mrs. Jerleen Burnette Rhodes, age 70, of Armuchee, GA , formerly of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Rhodes was born in Blue Ridge, GA to Forrest and Ettie Burnette on March 1, 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Rhodes; and her parents, Forrest and Ettie Burnette. She attended Salem #2 Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Harold Earley of Chattanooga, TN , David Earley of Thomasville, GA, and William (Becky) Rhodes of Copperhill, TN; daughters, Joyce Ratliff (late Danny Ratliff) of Armuchee, GA, and Melanie Grizzle of Hiawasse, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Calvin and Willie Jo Burnette of Blue Ridge, GA and Junior and Linda Burnette of Morganton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn Ross and the late Jimmy Ross of Blue Ridge, and Patricia and Johnny Rhodes of Blue Ridge, GA; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Randy Hooper and Nathan Stuart officiating. Music was by the A.C. Caylor Family. Pallbearers were Matthew Freeman, Michael Earley, John Acuff, Nathan Heaton, Jeff Rhodes, Ronald Rhodes, Nicholas Woody, Austin Rhodes, and Dillion Rhodes.
