Mrs. Jenis Wendale Ash Mull, age 89, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Friday, October 19, 2007 at her residence. Born in Fannin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Ash and Sarah Emma Williamson Ash. She and her late husband were owners and operators of Mull Grocery in McCaysville, GA for twenty-six years. Mrs. Mull attended Hipps Chapel Methodist Church. She collected coins, enjoyed gardening, loved to sew and read, loved to cook for her family and enjoyed company. Mrs. Mull was preceded in death by her husband, William Clark Mull; two infant sons; one great grandchild Jenis Gracie Clinton; and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son, Dexter Housley of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter, Lawanda Housley Whitener and husband Tex of Mineral Bluff, GA; brother, Weldon Ash of The Life Care Center of Copper Basin, Ducktown, TN; grandchildren, Melissa Panter of Mineral Bluff, Sherry Dunn of Watkinsville, GA, Scott Housley of McCaysville, GA, Deanne Housley of Atlanta, Jana Beth Housley of Atlanta, and Mandy Housley of McCaysville; great grandchildren, Scott Rose of Blue Ridge, Tosha Dunn of Watkinsville, GA, Zeke Housley of McCaysville, and Caden Housley of McCaysville; many nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services were conducted 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jack Buchanan officiating. Music was provided by the A.C. Caylor Family. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Dellon Ash, Jr., Tommy Ash, Mark Burger, Roger Ash, Randy Housley and Buck Barkley. Interment followed in the Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
