Jeffrey Jerome Dockery, age 50, of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in St. Cloud, MN. He worked as a Machinist for many years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn and Eddie Dockery and Bertha and Bill Cordell. Jeff is survived by his children, Jeffrey Nicholas Dockery, Kelsey Nicole Atkins, and Hannah Pruitt; grandchildren, Jaylyn Atkins, Coleman Atkins, and Achilles Atkins; father, Jerry (Charlotte) Dockery; mother, Mary Ellen Cordell; brothers; Randal Dockery, Joseph Dockery, and Keith Dacus; sister, Heather Jenkins. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Bro. Mike Jarrett officiating. Music will be provided by Sally Jones. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Tabernacle Cemetery with Richard Merrell, Michael Merrell, Michael Watkins, Bobby Watkins, Gage Posey, Chandler Dockery, and Cameron Dockery serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray final expenses.
