Jean Caylor Brown, age 73, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Ellijay, Georgia. She was born on June 4, 1950 in Andrews, North Carolina to the late Wayne Patterson and Ellen Smith Patterson. Jean was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her animals.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Caylor; and second husband, James Brown.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Racheal) Caylor of Copperhill, TN, Tracy Byers of Culberson, NC, and Kimberly Caylor of McCaysville, GA; grandchildren, James Caylor, John (Lacie) Caylor, Angel (Andrew) Stroup, Kristin Byers, Derek Fontnot, and Samantha Wood; great-grandchildren, Aaron Caylor, Natalie Caylor, James Caylor, Sofia Caylor, Anna Stroup, and Walker Stroup; sister, Elizabeth McDonald of Marble, NC; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held by the family on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. from the New Canaan Baptist Church - 1032 Pack Creek Road, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 with Rev. Kevin Chapman officiating.
