Jasper Earl Thomas, age 79 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 in Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, GA. He was born on January 25, 1940 in McCaysville, GA to the late Earl Jasper Thomas and Willie Ruth Passmore Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a painter. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gina Bradshaw and sisters, Kay "Tootsie" Brigman and Patsy Waters. Survivors are daughters, Shauna Adams (Lee), Pam Satterfield (Eric), Audrey Bradshaw (Lynn) and Becky O'Neal (Eddie); grandchildren, Jennifer Henry, Jessica Thomason, Wesley Adams, Kyle Adams, David Bradshaw, Noah O'Neal (Alexis), Isacc O'Neal and Micah O'Neal; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Thomas and sister, Teresa Lowe also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Adams, Wesley Adams, Kyle Adams, David Henry, Dawson Henry and Eric Satterfield.
