The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces funeral services for Mr. Jarrod Lynn Cearley, age 34, of Ducktown, TN who passed away on Monday December 14, 2009 in Asheville, NC. He was born in Vero Beach, FL on August 27, 1975. He was previously employed at Hardee's in Ducktown, TN and attended the Blue Ridge Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness's. Survivors include his father, Lynn Cearley of Ducktown, TN; mother Alma Bennett of Lindside, WV; grandmother, Alberta Slater of Lindside, WV; uncle Robert and Glenda Slater of Lindside, WV; cousins, Christopher Slater of Richmond, VA and Robert Slater of Melbourne, FL. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday December 17, at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Rock Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pan-Will Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: John Clark, James Cearley, Chris Higdon, Buddy Clark, Wesley Cearley and Gary Morrow.
