Jamison Dwayne Woods, lovingly known as "D.J." age 26 of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at his home.

Born on June 9, 1999, in Dalton, Georgia, D.J. truly loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains that he called home, and found joy in hunting, fishing, and camping. D.J. valued the time spent with his closest friends, creating memories that will forever be cherished.

D.J. was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne "Buzz" Woods; grandpa, Elden Graham; and grandma, Patricia Graham.

He is survived by his mother, Bianca Woods; sister, Britany (Rusty) Evans; nieces and nephews, Colby Green, Gracie Evans, Jaelyn Higdon, Eli Green, and Lucy Evans; grandma, Frances Chadwick; grandpa, Kenneth Chadwick; uncles, Ray Graham, Brandon (Sondra) Graham, Bill Graham, and Paul Graham; aunts, Tammy Chadwick and Frankie Pickelsimer; numerous other extended relatives, and dear friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Darvin Couch, Anthony Walden, and Hunter Davis. Interment followed in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hunter Davis, Austin Rider, Dillon Breedlove, Adrian Mendoza, Matthew Green, and Austin Muse. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening November 5, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
