Mr. James Marvin Williams, age 78, of Copperhill, TN, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013. Mr. Williams was born in Madisonville, TN to the late James Elisha and Eloise Moser Williams. He was retired from Siskin Steel in Chattanooga, TN after working as a Welder for twenty five years. He was a member and President of the Eagle CB Club and was of Church of God Faith. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Ronnie Williams, Donald Williams, Pinky Baines, Anna Jean Hamilton and an infant sister.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Nix Williams of the home; sons, Frank (Rose) Shinpaugh and Donald Lynn (Freda) Shinpaugh, both of Copperhill, TN; brother, Claude Williams of Madisonville, TN; sisters, Susie (Joe) Dunn of Tunnell Hill, GA, Roxie (Clifford) Wilson of Etowah, TN, Ruth (Tommy) Morrisey of Knoxville, TN, Charlene (Vernon) Tidwell of Trenton, AL; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 25th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. Music will be by Ed Vest. Pallbearers will be Johnny Waters, Jeff Brock, Scott Baines, Clifford Wilson, Josh Rodriquez, Jim Ensley and Richard Panter. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill (Airport Road) cemetery.
