Mr. James William Jones, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on October 2, 2014. Born in Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Cora M. Davenport Jones. He retired from the U.S. Forest Service as a Foreman after more than thirty years of service. He was also a member of Hipps Chapel Church and McCay Lodge #423 F&AM.Mr. Jones was also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Reba Elizabeth Patterson Jones; and one grandson, Mr. Lee Jones.Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Jones of Crandall, GA, John C. Jones of Buford, GA, Randall Jones of Epworth, GA and Billy Jones of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Richard Jones of Blue Ridge, GA and Herdis Jones of Epworth, GA; sisters, Gladys Bell of Ridge, GA, Myrtle Hallum of Mims, FL, and Ida Watkins of Epworth, GA; grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Wesley, Chris Jones and Randy Dillard; great grandchildren are Tyler Jones and Lauren and Hannah Jones.Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Hipps Chapel Community Cemetery with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music will be provided by L.H. Hallum. The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers: Tony Mashburn, Glen Mashburn, Donnie Callihan, L.H.
