Mr. James Elmer Talley, age 79, of Copperhill, TN, passed away on June 23, 2019 at his residence. Born in Polk County, TN he was the son of the late Elmer Lee and Stella Deal Talley. He was a long time member of the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. He retired as a Waste Water Plant Operator for the Tennessee Chemical Company after 33 years of service. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Jean Wright Talley; and one sister, Maxine Stillwell. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James D. and Regina Talley of Ducktown, TN and Dennis L. and Sonya Talley of Copperhill, TN; brother, Steve Talley; sisters, Joan Hawkins and Elizabeth (Johnny) Ledford all of Copperhill, TN; grandchildren, Dustin Talley, Kayla Talley, Cota ( Kayla) Talley and Timothy Talley; special friends, Gene and Joyce Barker.
