Mr. James Roy Odum, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Odum was born on February 5, 1932 in Fannin County, GA to the late Elick Odum and Edna Puckett Odum. He was of the Baptist faith and preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Williams Odum and a daughter, Janice Ann Odum. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Elaine Odum of Blue Ridge; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Odum of Blue Ridge; sister and brother-in-law, Jennie and Tom Walker of McCaysville; and many cousins. Funeral services were held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Michael Collis officiating. Eulogy was given by Shirley Odum.
