Mr. James Clinton "Clint" Morrow, age 82 of Locust Grove, GA passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 in the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, GA. He was born November 10, 1925 in Violet, NC to the late Lloyd Ed and Alice Graves Morrow. Mr. Morrow was of the Baptist faith. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Morrow was a retired mechanical engineer with the federal government. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Robert Morrow and sister, Dorothy Fralick.He is survived by his wife, Mary Morrow of Locust Grove, GA; son, Dwight David Morrow of Loganville, GA; three daughters, Diane Schweinebrten of Cartersville, GA, Brenda Gidden of Stockbridge, GA and Cathy Earnest of Locust Grove, GA; brothers, Rev. Ray Morrow of Fields of the Wood, NC, Howard Morrow of Blue Ridge, GA, Glen Morrow of Farner, TN, Eldon Morrow of Andrews, NC, Donnie Morrow of Copperhill, TN and Kenny Morrow of Turtletown, TN; sisters, Hazel Reid of Turtletown, TN and Pauline Simpkins of McCaysville, GA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Murphy and Rev. Gerald Mann officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery with full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
