Mr. James Lewis Miller, age 75, of Epworth, GA passed away on December 16, 2018 at his home. Born in Ellijay, GA, he was the son of the late Dennis Lloyd and Daisey Mae Herendon Miller. James was a veteran serving in the United States Army during Vietnam. He had worked for a number of years for the Tennessee Chemical Company and later retired from Honeywell. James was a member of the Bethany Church in Epworth, GA. He was also preceded in death by his infant daughter; Michelle Lea Miller; two brothers, Dennis and Billy Miller; and one sister, Lois Irene "Sue" Miller. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Nancy Hickey Miller; daughter, Jennifer Miller; brother, Scott Miller; sister, Judy Miller; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bethany Church with Rev. Tommy Bell and Pastor Jimmy Dickey officiating. Music was provided by Sarah Kate Odum. Interment followed in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherry Log, GA with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Kenny Sutton, Steve Whitlow, Ronnie Herendon, Tommy Herendon, Jimmy Payne, Keith Gaddis and Gary Harris.
