James Clifford Kidd, age 75, of Decatur, TN passed away on March 28, 2022 at Erlanger Medical Center. James was born on March 27, 1947 in Murphy, NC to the late William Kidd and Charlcie Martin Patterson. He retired from Horizon Milling in Chattanooga, TN after working for 27 years as an electrician. James enjoyed gardening, and also, he loved family time especially on vacations. James is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ruth Ann Dean Kidd of the home; children and their spouses, Sandy and Shane Thompson of Resca, GA, Kevin Kidd of Decatur, TN, and Amanda Benjamin of Decatur, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Buford and Garnette Kidd; sisters and their spouses, Wanda Lewis, and Ruby and Robert Worthey; grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Haleigh Kidd, and Tia Seitz; and great-grandchildren, Elsie Crawford and Dawson Lance. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Farner Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Reid officiating.
