Jim Hartley, age 91, of Blue Ridge, passed away on March 26, 2022 of natural causes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia, in 2020. Jim is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Pam Hartley, and Tom and Karen Hartley; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Bryant; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Jim was kind and loving to all he met. If asked how he was, he would always respond, "I'd be a fool to complain." He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Jim's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service to celebrate his and Marcia's life was held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev.
