Mr. James "Dean" Griffith, age 78, of Westland, MI, passed away on March 30, 2021. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Henry and Ada Ellen Hunt Griffith; brother, Robert Thomas Griffith; sisters, Rita Mae Adair and Louise Wood; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edgar and Carrie Henson. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Griffith; son, James Griffith; daughter and son-in-law, Terrie and Joe Griffith-Wrone; brothers and sister-in-law, Ward Gene and Brenda Griffith and Tom Wood; sister, Georgia Gail Trout; grandchildren, Nathaniel Griffith-Wrone, Gabriel Griffith-Wrone, Michael Griffith-Wrone and Daniel Griffith-Wrone. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. from the New Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Housley officiating. Music was provided by Ivy Bice and Diana Odum.
