James Grady Goss Jr., age 48, of Turtletown passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. James was born on March 11, 1977 in Copperhill to the late James Grady Goss Sr. and Kitty Mae Self. He loved being outdoors and riding motorcycles. James was known for being selfless by always being gracious and desiring to help others.

He is survived by uncles, Melvin Goss and Rick Self; aunts, Kathern Self and Peggy Rogers; and multiple cousins, many other relatives, and friends.James leaves behind his beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him deeply.

The family would like to extend a special acknowledgment to his childhood cousins, Wendy McMullen, Helen Cross, Amy Scott, Mitzi Self, Mary Stillwell, GW Loudermilk, and significant other, Pamela Cambrera, who stood by him through every season of life from his earliest days until the very end.

Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Scottie Newberry officiating. Eulogy was provided by Wendy McMullen. Pallbearers were Paul Hopkins, Robbie Maddox, Justin Stillwell, Jeffrey Barnes, Josh Nicholson, and Matt Chambers.
