James Edward Goode, age 81, of Turtletown, TN passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at his home. Mr. Goode was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 10, 1940. He worked for Shaw Industries for a number of years and was a belonged to the Masons in Lavonia, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Gourtney Goode and his mother, Miami Florida Goode. He is survived by his daughter, Annette Brendle of Turtletown; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Tammy Goode of Athens, TN; grandchildren, James (Jamie) Payne of Paris, TN, and Mary Payne of Copperhill, TN; great grandchild, Brianna Walker and Ethan Payne; great great grandchildren, Kadence Payne and Sergio Flores III; and special friends, James and Christine Lackey and Terry Baliles.
