Mr. James Bernard Chapman, II, affecionately known to family and friends as "Jimmy", age 59, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. Mr. Chapman was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 18, 1952 to the late James Bernard Chapman, Sr. and Rita Ann Shanahan Chapman. He was a journeyman electrician and was a loyal and faithful member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.Survivors include, two sons, James Bernard Chapman, III of Spring, Texas and Joseph Deal Chapman of Copperhill, TN; daughter, Melissa Renee Chapman of McCaysville, GA; three brothers, Michael P. Chapman of Texas, Thomas R. Chapman of Florida and Willard J. Dilbeck; one sister, Kathleen A. Brackett of McCaysville, GA; five grandchildren, Brittany, James IV, Sam, Cody and Brandy; great grandchild, Pailey.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Chapman will be cremated.
