James Lee Branyon, age 76 of Turtletown, TN passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at his home. He was born on Friday, August 5, 1938 in Anderson, SC, to the late Claude Lee and Olga Beatrice Tippins Branyon. Mr. Branyon was a member of Victory Temple Holiness Church. He had worked for Piggly Wiggly Supermarket in Ducktown, TN.Survivors are his wife, Edith Taylor Branyon of Turtletown, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Perry Branyon and Renee of Blairsville, GA and James W. Branyon, Jr. and Missy of Evansville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Johnson and Gilbert of Farner, TN; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren also survive.Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Brother Jeremy Tipton and Brother Reid Nicholson officiating. Music will be by Randall and Joel Nicholson. Pallbearers will be Micah Branyon, Daniel Johnson, Tim Johnson, Jonathan Branyon, Abe Taylor and Tommy Taylor. Interment will follow in the New Hope Holiness Church Cemetery.
