James Edward Beach, age 87, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2024. He was a follower of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a member of Barnes Chapel Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He was born to the late George Washington Beach and Era Mae Panter Beach of Blue Ridge, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, George Beach, Jr.; and sisters Martha Jean Loving and Rosalee Russell.

James was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his wife and cherished spending time with his family. He enjoyed going to church, fishing, woodworking, and gardening. He honorably served his country in the United States Army for four years. He worked many years as the Regional Manager of Doxol Propane and then Ferrellgas where he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ricord Beach; son, Larry (Charlene) Beach of Dallas, GA; grandsons, Travis Beach and Jason Beach of Dallas, GA; sisters, Dorothy Carroll of Blue Ridge, GA, and Lora Vee Anderson of Woodstock, GA; sisters-in-law Carol Beach and Ellie Painter of Blue Ridge, GA; brother-in-law, Sam Parr of Blue Ridge, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 12:30 PM from the Barnes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Ray Queen and Rev. David Mashburn officiating and Military Honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Gaurd. Friends may visit the family prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of James Beach be made to Barnes Chapel Baptist Church, in care of Steve Green at 70 Skyview Ridge Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
