Ms. Jacqueline "Jackie" McPherson, age 57, of McCaysville, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was a native of Fannin County, daughter of the late Ralph and Leona Dillard McPherson and loved and was a member of Bethel Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Lisa Crowe.She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Tracy McPherson of Canton; brother, Bill McPherson of Ludville, GA; sister, Joanne Southerland of Ellijay; four nieces and four nephews, affectionately known as "her babies," Nakia McPherson, Eva Jean Southerland, Joshua Southerland, Justin Southerland, Betty Crowe, Adrian Crowe, Andrew McPherson, and Jackie McPherson; great nephew, Garrett McPherson; great niece and nephew, Emilee and Tyler Corn; special brothers and sisters, Joyce Patterson of McCaysville, Midge Cook of Epworth, Pam Free of Epworth, Janie Queen of McCaysville, Tammy Ware of McCaysville, and Tony Rhodes of Mineral Bluff; and many other relatives and friends.Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Music was provided by the Bethel Church Choir. Pallbearers were Nakia McPherson, Justin Southerland, Robbie Corn, Wesley Corn, and Buddy Linderman.
