Jacqueline "Jackie" Louise Garrison Hamby, age 65, of Rome, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, on her 42nd Wedding Anniversary. She was born on November 22, 1957, in Pensacola, FL, to the late Jack John Garrison and Hazel Wynell Huggins Garrison. She retired from Bekaert Steel where she worked in Accounts Payable. Jackie was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife and mother and was very active in her children's school life. She is preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Jonathan Graham.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Denson Baltzelle Hamby; sons, Derek Sean Hamby and Devin Jacob Hamby; sister, Linda Garrison Graham; nephews, Andrew and Scott Graham; and great nephew, Jack Graham.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Todd Graham and Devin Hamby officiating. Music will be by Ethan Shaw. Interment will follow in the John Floyd Anderson Cemetery in Blue Ridge. Pallbearers will be Andrew Graham, Scott Graham, Derek Hamby, Devin Hamby, Dylan Eubanks, Michael Hewitt, Corey Patterson, and Scott Harkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Graham, Sky King, Ethan Shaw, Chris Alonzo, Tommy Hamby, Daniel H. Anderson, Michael Harper, and Bobby Isham.
