Jacob Dylan Tallant, age 19 of Morganton, Ga passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at home. He was born on August 3, 1991 in Blairsville, GA to the late Phillip L. Tallant. He is preceded in death by sister, Amanda D. Tallant (Mandy); niece, Hailey Truelove; both maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include his mother, Angela G. Thomas Tallant of Morganton, GA; sisters, Katrina Wyant, Amanda Mosher (Blake) and Misty Manning (Michael); five nieces; three nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tully Griggs officiating. Interment followed in the First Baptist Church of Epworth Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blake Mosher, Eric Salinas, Dylan Deveraux, Ryan Jones, George Salinas and Nick Holden.
